My friend sent me a link to your youtube vids and I thought I'd pop in.

If you haven't already you should contact Scart/Prozak for his v3x to v37 model converter. We used that to get the citizen workers and such decompiled with full animations and original rig along with the TF2: Invasion models.

Essel/Andy would probably be willing to help out with multiplayer support and all that.

I still have a newer, unreleased version of the Team GabeN beta that might have stuff in it you guys want from like 2009 or so but it seems like you've already done a lot of cleaning up for models/textures and the stuff you might not have like working Alien Assassin, Female Assassin, Cremator, and proper Hydra AI are all stuff you'd get from Essel/Andy.

Unfortunately back when I started working on beta stuff I was literally 13 years old so I wasn't too helpful. I do have Krunchy's old compile menu batch file if you want that as well, it's just a simple UI makes compiling a map/model for v35, v37 or TF2: Invasion fairly simple.

I also noticed you said my old fat zombie model wasn't accurate, I actually didn't model it I just took the fat zombie's torso model, removed the intestines that were hanging out and attached it to its leg gib model. I think that's accurate but what I did forget to do was actually weld the two pieces together so there's a very obvious seam at the midsection plus who knows how good my rigging skills were 12 years ago.

What's up with the rocket/missile launcher? I've never seen that model before.
It's an old model for weapon_rpg. Originally it had v36

Do we need clean beta for megapatch 4, or we can just install it over megapatch 3 and leaknet?
It is best to install it on the clean beta and then install LeakNet

Oh, hey, nice to see someone from the "old guard" of the beta community!
We already done all of the prop models and all the characters that had older mdl versions, so the converter would be of no use already. But the code could come really handy for VXP's LeakNet, we sure will contact those you mentioned.
And about your 2002 Zombie remake - it was good to see an actually working model of the old zombie, no matter what quallity it was. It is available in our downloads section btw.

If it's allowed, could you post a video of the working Alien Assassin AI? I've seen working Cremators on Youtube, but never an Alien Assassin in action.

I haven't used this since my computer died, and I'm still having trouble getting the beta (it's just my internet, it keeps cutting out) so I'm just gonna ask: Do the giant fish thing and the Combine Assassin ragdoll when killed or do they still go into reference pose?

Female Assassin's ragdoll have been fixed long time ago, but I don't see any point to fix Icky's ragdoll since it's AI does not work properly.

Still 2 weapon models and 3 character models are left to finish. We can't release until those are ready.

Yeah, I tested the Assassin's thing after making the post, as I hadn't done a map with them in after I patched it.
The giant fish thing (gg) appears in d1_town_01 (the wc mappack version in the root folder, not the one in the leak) and some other story maps. I tried to kill it and it said "something.mdl missing sequence ACT_DIESIMPLE!"
And also the Zombie Assassin (I think that's what it's called) in maps like e3_Gurluas has no animations, ragdolls, or AI. So that doesn't work.
Would these things be fixed at any point?

e3_Gurluas is the only map that has Zombie Assassin in it, and it's fanmade (and has nothing to do with e3)

E3_Gurlas is fan-made map, made by Russians (MAYBE!) because you can find this in Russian Leak pack for beta.

Nope, it wasn't made by Russians. But still I didn't know it was the only map that had a zombie assassin in it haha
At some point I might make a map fix including fixed everything, but that's many many years away probably as I have no idea yet how to do shit with the HL2 Beta other than do shit with WorldCraft.
